WORKSHOPS

In the past, we have had mini-workshops with Susan Hellauer (from Anonymous 4) on music of 14th century Europe---titled "Black Death? What Black Death? or Music to Die for", and Larry Zukoff on the music of William Byrd. In 2006 Deborah Booth coached a mini-workshop on "Music of the Franco-Flemish Renaissance". In 2008, Sheila Beardslee offered two mini-workshops on the music of Tomas Luis de Victoria. Eric Haas and Gene Murrow each conducted a workshop in 2009. Eric's workshop, entitled "Myth Conceptions", dealt with Renaissance chansons, madrigals and dances inspired by Greek mythology. Gene's workshop was entitled "The Singing Recorder."
